Mojo Brothers

Garage-Fuzz-Duo

To Me/Mary Ann - to be continued.

Black and white, dimmed lights, wafts of stage smoke: Just two hombres in black turtlenecks, skin-tight pants, pointed boots. The shredding sound of a guitar and the pounding beat of a Hammond organ – then … two-part harmonies. The Mojo Brothers.
Flashback in Polaroid colors:  A parent's living room where brothers Roman and Matthias sing and strum on the piano to entertain their family as "The Bib-Boys." After relentless digging in their rock 'n' roll-dad's record cave they dedicate themselves to love-expressing and faith-pledging 60's pop-music.
The colorfast present: it's about naked truths and bitches-blunt, straight, to the point. To put it short: exactly what the typical teenage Indie band in their thousandth reincarnation did not catch so far.
The Mojo's engine is howling like their garage-sound. They give free reins to their rage and they do it loud. Compared to other well-known garage-duos like the Black Keys or the White Stripes their instrumental set-up is a different one: a fuzz guitar, a state-of-the-art drum 'n' bass organ and their Everly-Brothers-singing – their songs of two sound like a sound of three.
In December 2016 the Mojo Brothers will release their first single "Mary Ann/Don’t Lie To Me" on off label records. To be continued … be damn sure!
